A magnificent sun pampers your body as you lie out on a beach in the French Riviera; all the while, you’re slowly sipping a martini: summer is here. The only thing left to do is to set your sights on a deliciously chic Eres swimsuit.
1968: creator Irène Leroux founds the Maison Eres, effectively modernizing the glamorous world of seaside resorts. With simple and purified creations, the label communicates a certain elegance à la française. Critics, too, have plenty to say about the brand as well; on the subject of Eres Hilary Alexandre had this to say: “Eres makes the best ‘little black swimsuits’ in the world. […] They’re the Coco Chanel of swimsuits”. Today, designer in chief, Valérie de Lafosse, perpetuates this atypical vision of the classical elegance conveyed by the Maison Eres: “For my creations, I like colors that are difficult to pull off on the beach. The ones I use are somewhat strange and unusual; something is always out of the ordinary”. Extraordinary swimsuits for each and every body to bring out the star within: this is Eres’ underlying philosophy.
