With a new ad campaign tinged with British humor, Burberry is again counting on young recruit Romeo Beckham to present their brand new Spring/Summer collection.
The Bekchams are on a roll! After the launch of momma Victoria’s collection in 2008, and the recent H&M campaign for papa David’s underwear, it’s now Romeo’s turn at age 10 to make a name for himself in the extremely exclusive universe of fashion.
The young model can be found clowning around in a head-to-toe Burberry get-up in this second campaign, shot once again by Mario Testino. The famed Trench Coat, emblematic icon of the brand, is available in a kid’s version, in a palette of chic beiges, with a popped color and a belt at the waist. You can also get a navy blue one accessorized with a lamé turquoise pouch. Perched on a platform, the young Beckham points a playfully mocking finger at his colleagues du jour, including the very in vogue Cara Delevingne.
Christopher Bailey is breathing a bit of fresh air into the often rigid world of fashion. Ridicule and humor are two undeniable assets of this new Burberry Spring/Summer 2013 campaign!
