The Bulgari Octo Roma Automatic Time-And-Date revisits the iconic design of the Bulgari Octo watch — a watch that since 2004 has distilled the cachet of ancient Rome and contemporary design.
Bulgari Octo Roma Automatic Time-And-Date: The Octo Watch Revisited
Octagonal shape and round bezel, the Bulgari Octo watch distills an unprecedented association between the aesthetic principle of ancient Rome and contemporary power.
“The objective was to bring into this product elements drawn from Rome, its history and its architecture, but in a resolutely contemporary horological approach. The Octo thus found its inspiration in the arches of Maxentius, located in the heart of the Roman Forum, a building considered an engineering marvel of the time” Fabrizio Buonamassa Stigliani, Director of the House’s Watch Design Center.
The watchmaking icon imagined with the watch designer Gérald Genta, reinvents itself in an even more modern version! A stainless steel case with a diameter of 41 mm and a thickness of 10.55 mm, a sleek dial and a date window located at the 3 o’clock position… It is the Bulgari logo that signs the know-how in a position at 12 o’clock.
In 2023, Bulgari is refreshing its iconic Octo Roma Automatic Time-and-Date with a new Clous de Paris motif visible on the dial. Powered by the in-house Bulgari BVL 191 caliber, a self-winding movement with a 42-hour power reserve, the Bulgari Octo Roma Automatic Time-And-Date watch is mounted on a steel bracelet… That’s all the panache of Italian style!
