Alhambra was founded in 1968 as an emblem of the Maison. A jeweler that seemed to marry the codes of his time: the sketch of a four leaf clover, as an echo to the wish of good health, good fortune, good luck and love.
The first model was a necklace in yellow gold. Over time, a pattern appeared on the Alhambra Talisman watch. Circled with fifty-two diamonds, seems to have made the house sparkle with the purity of pearl or onyx that founded the dial, and a desire to create something iconic. Above all, the Alhambra is timeless. Van Cleef & Arpels was also named the supplier of the Court of Monaco after Princess Grace made her passion known for the iconic collection of the house.
The legendary Alhambra collection from Van Cleef & Arpels consists of five new exquisite limited edition pieces: a pendant embellished with a diamond, a short necklace, a bracelet, a long necklace and exquisite stud earrings.
Carved in bois d’amourette, a rare natural wood, it is said to bring happiness, like a talisman connecting luck to your wrist.
